VISITOR VISA
If you want to travel to Australia for holiday purposes or business purposes, a visitor visa can be applied for you.
A visitor visa can allow you to stay in Australia for up to 12 months. Certain visitor visas get granted for 6, 3 or even 12 months.
It is very important to submit a strong visitor visa application to Immigration. As most visitor visas are refused on the basis that Immigration believes that you are not a genuine visitor. We will assess your situation and let you know which particular documents to provide and how to ensure we get your visa granted.
SUBCLASS 600 – VISITOR VISA
- At time of application, can be in or outside Australia
- At time of decision, can be in or outside Australia
- Have enough money to support stay in Australia
- Evidence of your purpose to visit Australia – letter from friend who you may be visiting
- If you are coming to Australia for Business – then you need to provide evidence of what business activities you will be undertaking
- If you have an Australian citizen, permanent resident or Eligible New Zealand family member or relative they may be able to sponsor you under the Sponsored Family Stream
Subclass 771 visa
This is a visa that allows you to transit in Australia for 72 hours.
ETA Subclass 601 VISA
With this visa you can visit Australia as many times as you want in a 12 month time period. However, you can only stay 3 months in each stay.
- Can visit Australia for holiday purposes or undertake business activities
- Cannot work in Australia (receive money for working)
- At time of application and time of decision, must be outside Australia.
- Must have a passport from specific list of countries:

- Hong Kong (SAR of China)
- Iceland

ETA Subclass 651 VISA
With this visa you can visit Australia as many times as you want in a 12 month time period. However, you can only stay 3 months in each stay.
